Black Awareness Month discussions set at ISU through February

February 12, 2007

The Idaho State University Diversity Resource Center, ISU Collegiate National Association of Colored People and the ISU Multicultural Committee will host a series of discussions on black awareness this month at ISU.

    Discussions include:

•    Feb. 13, 6-9 p.m., “Strength in Numbers: Uniting the Voices of Africans and African Americans,” Pond Student Union Building Bear River Room.

•    Feb. 22, 6-9 p.m., “ISU Diversity … Does it Really Exist: Issues Ethnic Students Face on ISU Campus,” PSUB North Fork Room.

•    Feb. 26, 6-9 p.m., “Hip Hop Culture and Women’s Portrayal Image and Consciousness Versus Degradation and Money,” PSUB Bear River Room.

Light refreshments will be served.
