Taste of France is Oct. 27 in PSUB

Club Francophone, Idaho State University’s French Club, will sponsor its eighth annual Taste of France dinner featuring food and entertainment beginning at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Pond Student Union Building Ballroom.

The dinner will feature traditional cuisine from various Francophone countries, including beans provencal, beef daube provencal, brie, tourte de haute (vegetarian tourte), eggplant papeton, and creme brulée with marionberries.

Entertainment will include live music, a belly dancing demonstration featuring Liz Alstad, and other demonstrations of French cultural diversity.

Tickets purchased in advance are $7 for ISU students with valid Bengal cards and ISU faculty and staff; $9 for the general public; and $5 for children under age 16. Tickets can be purchased weekedays at the PSUB main lobby. They will be available at the door the night of the event for an extra dollar.
