ISU professor named Certified Nurse Educator

The Idaho State University Kasiska College of Health Professions School of Nursing has announced Deana Molinari, Ph.D., has earned the designation of Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).

She accomplished this after successfully completing a rigorous certification examination developed and administered by the New York City-based National League for Nursing.

Molinari, an associate professor, earned a Ph.D. in instructional psychology and technology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in nursing and community health care systems from Oregon Health Sciences University.  

Molinari teaches in the graduate nursing program. Her courses include topics in research and statistics, teaching with technology and health care in rural communities. She has received grants, developed programs and published research articles about online learning, rural nursing and patient education outcomes.
