ISU literary journal seeks submissions

The Idaho State University literary journal “Black Rock & Sage” requests submissions of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art and photography for its 2007 edition. Submissions are welcome from all members of the community and must be postmarked by Jan. 26.

Guidelines for submissions include:

•    Send copies rather than originals

•    Include a cover letter with your name, address, telephone number,       e-mail address and 50-word biography

•    Do not put your name on your writing or art work

•    Only submit high-contrast work as it will be published in black and white

Submissions are limited to not more than five poems, five photographs or works of art, or 5,000 words of prose.

Send work with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Department of English and Philosophy, Black Rock & Sage, Idaho State University; 921 S. 8th Ave. Stop 8056, Pocatello, ID 83209-8056.
