ISU physics presents science demos in "Fire and Ice" April 29

POCATELLO — Idaho State University's Department of Physics and the Society of Physics Students will be presenting a free “Fire and Ice” demonstration show to the public on Saturday, April 29, from 4 - 5:30 p..m in room 140 of the Physical Science Building on the south west corner of 8th Avenue and Carter Street on the ISU campus.

The demo show will feature a fire tornado, ice bombs, a giant jug rocket, liquid nitrogen, the flaming wave tube, air frozen solid, methane  fireballs, and much, much more
 
Come at 3 p.m. for hovercraft rides, “hair raising” with our Van deGraff generator, and other hands-on science activities.  This and other science demo shows are presented at local K-12 schools upon invitation.
