Emergency Plans For Building Occupants

Idaho State University has developed an Emergency Action Plan (Base Plan) to provide a guide for the campus community in an effort to save lives, protect property, and ensure the continued operations of Idaho State University through preparedness, education, and individual readiness. The base plan serves as the foundation for emergency preparedness and provides information about:

  • Emergency communication and reporting
  • Personnel accountability
  • Hazard specific disaster response activities
  • Procedures for evacuation, lockdown and shelter-in-place

Between our main campus in Pocatello and our satellite campuses in Idaho Falls and Meridian, we have more than 100 buildings each with a unique set of attributes and challenges. The tabs below contain building specific information related to emergency communications, available life safety equipment, and evacuation maps. Along with these plans we encourage individual preparedness and offer training and exercise opportunities as requested.
