Idaho State University VITA files record returns for the fifth consecutive year

POCATELLO – On March 28, the Idaho State University College of Business Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program finished off the tax season by completing 495 returns and 20 amended returns, surpassing last year’s record of 431 returns filed.

POCATELLO – Bruce Blair’s mother cried when she heard the news. Blair, an Idaho State University Doctor of Arts political science student and a first-generation college student, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to go to Finland.

Three ISU teams place in the Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge in Boise

POCATELLO – Last week, four student teams from throughout Idaho State University traveled to Boise to compete in the Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge. Of the four ISU teams that made it to the finals, three placed taking home a portion of the competition’s $100,000 in prize money.
