Split decisions: Idaho State University debaters claim online honors

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Rupp Debate Society debaters narrowly missed the top berth Sunday at the Climb the Mountain Online Debate Tournament.  Bengal Debaters delivered second place in the final round of International Parliamentary Debate, and secured fifth place in the quarter finals as well.

Petroleum Experts donate MOVE software worth nearly $1 million to Idaho State University geosciences department

POCATELLO – Petroleum Experts Limited has donated the equivalent of $980,000 in oil and gas software for use by the Idaho State University Department of Geosciences. The software will be used by ISU researchers working on a National Science Foundation Grant and for teaching of advanced graduate-level geosciences courses.
