A Small-Town Kid That Does Not Believe in Pineapple on Pizza

If you don’t know where Firth, Idaho is, you definitely aren’t alone. In this small town, you would find me playing any sport I could be around. I mainly love football, basketball, and baseball, but am down for any competition. If I can compete, I will do it. I love being outdoors, camping, riding horses, and hiking. I grew up in western Canada, and these things are a lifestyle. One thing you would never find me doing is eating a pineapple pizza. Pineapple is great, and pizza is great. Why ruin them both?

I am in my second year of study here at ISU, and am excited to be a mentor! I am studying Biology with a biomedical science concentration, and plan on going to Medical School to become a radiologist. I love studying anything medicine! I believe that hard work is the answer to everything. If you set your mind to something, hard work will accomplish it. Going into college, it's hard to remember that it's not a competition. College is about doing what works for you, and you shouldn’t compare yourself to others! Comparison makes it hard. Work hard, do your best, and enjoy the ride! Feel free to reach out if you need anything at all!
