Posted June 3, 2014

The Pocatello branch of the American Association of University Women is seeking book donations in preparation for its annual used book sale fundraiser to be held Sept. 18, 19 and 20 in the foyer of the Idaho State University Reed Gymnasium.

Donations can be left in the wooden box in the entrance to the ISU Continuing Education Building located at 1001 N. Seventh Street near City Hall in Pocatello during business hours on weekdays.

AAUW does not accept magazines, textbooks, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, or Harlequin (or similar) romances; please do not leave any such books at the drop box. All other hardbound and paperback books are appreciated. A selection of used books is available for sale at the Pocatello Co-op on an ongoing basis. Proceeds from book sales are used for AAUW educational/career workshops.

The AAUW mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Idaho State University is an institutional partner of the Pocatello Branch and students enrolled at ISU are eligible to receive a free e-Student Affiliation membership.
