The Idaho State University Nepalese Students’ Association will host the fourth annual Nepalese Night on the theme “Glimpses of Nepal” at 6 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.
The program is aimed at offering the audience an insightful look into the rich culture and natural beauty of Nepal.
The event features traditional Nepali songs and dances performed by Nepalese students here. A fashion show showcasing traditional Nepali dresses will follow the performances. A slideshow presentation with information about Nepal, along with a raffle drawing will also be included in the event. Authentic Nepali food will be served in the program. There will be a display of cultural items.
“Everyone is invited to have a cultural dinner with us, and we will be more than happy to serve you all with the very best of our heart,” said Nirmal Acharya, president of the ISU Nepalese Student Association.
Ticket pricing for the event is $6 for students, $8 for faculty and staffs, and $9 for the public. Tickets are available in the ISU Rendezvous Complex and Pond Student Union weekdays. It is suggested that the audience buy tickets in advance, although they can also purchase tickets for a dollar more at the door.
