ISU-Idaho Falls’ Majors Fair April 4 to provide information for students, prospective students

The Idaho State University-Idaho Falls campus is helping its current and prospective students achieve their academic dreams by providing them with a majors fair on April 4 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bennion Student Union Building on 1784 Science Center Drive.

English professor’s public lecture March 29 to focus on Swedish immigrants’ letters

The Idaho State University Phi Kappa Phi Spring Scholarly Lecture will feature Dr. Jennifer Eastman Attebery at 7:30 p.m. March 29.
    Attebery will speak on her research concerning Swedish immigrant letters. The immigrants came to the Rocky Mountain states during the period 1880 to 1917. To study the letters, Attebery traveled to archives in Sweden and the western United States. Her book, to be published by University of Minnesota Press this spring, analyzes immigrant letters from a folklorist’s point of view.

Museum to host ‘mystery dinner theater’ fundraiser March 22-24

The Idaho Museum of Natural History will host its third annual Museum Mystery Dinner Theater March 22-24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. To raise funds for its exhibits, the event will offer dinner, drinks, a show and dessert. (more…)

Bengal Theater to screen ‘Black Gold’ documentary on dark side of coffee trade March 20

Economics competition for high school students set at ISU March 20

The Idaho competition for the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) National Economics Challenge for high school students will take place on the Idaho State University campus from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 20 at the ISU Pond Student Union Building.

ISU business students bring home top honors from state leadership conference

The Idaho State University chapter of Business Professionals of America recently brought home five top honors and 18 other awards from the BPA State Leadership Conference held on the Boise State University campus.
ISU students competed against colleges around the state in events that prepare students for careers in a variety of business areas. All of the 12 students who attended earned the right to represent Idaho at the National Leadership Conference in New York City this May.

Renovated ISU Family Dentistry clinic christened in Boise

College of Pharmacy’s Drug Information Service providing answers to drug-related queries

The Idaho Drug Information Service at Idaho State University’s College of Pharmacy is working tirelessly to answer drug-related questions for health-care professionals and the general public of Idaho, the nation and world.

This unique service, which is funded completely by the College of Pharmacy, is designed to ensure proper drug information is available free of charge to all of Idaho’s health-care professionals and the general public, though they answer questions from all over.

‘Homeless Awareness Night’ slated for ISU Quad March 30

 Idaho State University Idaho Progressive Student Alliance will host the second annual “To the Streets: A Homeless Awareness Night” at 5 p.m. March 30 on the ISU Hutchinson Quadrangle.
