Wayne Machuca, Ph.D

Dr. Wayne Machuca has been the lead instructor for the cyber security degree program with Concordia's partner program at Mt. Hood Community College. He has credentials as Certified Ethical Hacker, Security+, HL7, Oracle Academy Trainer, AccessData Certified Examiner, HL7 Control, and more. In addition, he is a member of the National CyberWatch Center's Curriculum Standards Panel to create the nation's first curriculum model standard for cybersecurity education. He earned his Ph.D. in Business / Management Information Systems from Northcentral University and has a certificate in ministry from Berean University. 

Dr. Machuca has been a Professor and Instructor of Computer Technology and Information Systems full-time since 1999 and part-time since 1989, with postings at Mt. Hood Community College, Oregon Institute of Technology, Concordia University, College of the Sequoias (CA), National University, and Idaho State University. While my recent focus has been on Cyber Security degrees, I have also created degree programs in Web Design, Computer Game Development, Technical Support Specialist, and Health Informatics.
