Be sure to follow Hero on Twitter and like Hero on Facebook as well! Hero is the Veteran Student Services Center’s facility and emotional support dog and she is always making her followers WOL (Woof Out Loud)!
Located on the 3rd floor of the Pond Student Union at ISU, our office area serves as a space for military-connected students to utilize for studying, socializing, advising and more.
We have a computer resource center, in addition to the presence of our facility and emotional support dog, Hero, on-site. Our Career Closet is available to help military-connected students with attire needs for job interviews and other professional settings.
Our office also hosts the on-campus Armed Forces Club, a chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA). The Pocatello and the Idaho Falls ISU campuses meet regularly.
We are here to help you achieve your educational and academic goals--let us know how we can help you.
The Veteran Student Services Center advances student learning by assisting veterans, service members, and qualified dependents with their transition to Idaho State University; streamlining access to academic, social, and health services; providing opportunities for leadership, community engagement, and career preparation.
We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the academic year, and from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer.
