Upward Bound Math and Science
The goal of the Upward Bound Math and Science program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science and to encourage them to pursue post-secondary degrees and ultimately careers, in math and science.
The program is divided into two periods of instruction: summer and academic year. During the summer, students come to Idaho State University for six weeks to take classes in math, English, science, and other areas. Students live on campus and participate in a variety of activities as well as study hall after classes each day. The academic year follow-up offers tutoring and advising to students on a weekly basis.
