Q) When and where is the College of Technology’s graduation ceremony?

A) The College of Technology’s Winter Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m. in the Stephens Performing Arts Center.

Q) Who is invited to participate in the College of Technology graduation ceremony?

A) The College of Technology’s Graduation Ceremony is organized for students graduating from one of our 34 programs. In order to be invited to the ceremony, a student must apply for graduation by the deadline.

Q) How do I apply for graduation from Idaho State University?

A) For more information about the graduation application process, please click here. If a student has additional questions about the graduation application process, they need to call Linda Martin at (208) 282-2977. The deadline to apply for spring graduation is March 18.

Q) How will I be invited to the graduation ceremony?

A) All students who apply for graduation before the deadline will receive a formal invitation to the College of Technology’s Graduation Ceremony. Invitations will be mailed during the week of March 5th. Please note that some invitations will be distributed through program faculty to students. If a student has not received their invitation by March 18th, they will need to call (208) 282-2800.

Q) How do I confirm that I will attend the College of Technology’s Graduation Ceremony?

A) Each graduate will need to submit an online registration by clicking here. Graduates who do not complete the registration form by April 20, 2018 will not participate in the ceremony.

Q) Are tickets required?

A) Yes, tickets are required for this event and can be picked up on May 1st. Each graduate will be given 4 tickets.

Q) Do I need to wear graduation regalia to the College of Technology’s Spring Graduation Ceremony?

A) Yes, graduation regalia—cap, tassel, and gown—is required for the College of Technology’s Graduation Ceremony. Regalia can be purchased from the University Bookstore. College of Technology graduates will be receiving a $10 coupon, which may be applied to the purchase in the University Bookstore. 

Q) How long does the College of Technology Graduation Ceremony last?

A) The College of Technology’s Graduation Ceremony will last approximately 1.5 hours. Graduates need to stay for the entire ceremony.

Q) Are young children invited to attend the ceremony?

A) Due to the nature of the College of Technology Graduation Ceremony, we strongly discourage young children from attending. We recommend that children under the age of eight not attend the graduation ceremony. Each guest including children, will need a ticket to come to graduation.
