Idaho State’s COVID-19 Dashboard
Idaho State’s dashboard tracks the weekly numbers of probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases at the University. The cases are broken down by location and category. The dashboard shows weekly trends. The dashboard data is compiled and updated by the University Health Committee. For more information about the data, please email COVID@health.isu.edu.
Unless otherwise noted, all numbers are updated on Wednesday evenings. Cases are reported based on the day the test result is obtained or known to the University.

Case: includes both laboratory COVID-19 confirmed and probable individuals.
Confirmed: a person with a positive laboratory test result for COVID-19 using a molecular amplification technique (e.g., PCR, NAAT) OR antigen test.
Probable: individuals with close contact with a known case now experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 OR who have experienced the sudden loss of taste and smell consistent with the clinical presentation of COVID-19.
Cluster: Idaho State defines a cluster as two or more related cases contracted on campus or at a University-sponsored activity.
Off Campus: this designation is used when the individual was not on campus during the infectious period and could not have contracted COVID-19 while on campus. This includes: students taking only online classes or employees working remotely.
Experiential: this designation is used for students who test positive while completing educational activities off campus such as clinical rotations, practicums, or internships.
Satellite: This designation is used for Outreach Centers or campuses with a small number of students, faculty, or staff.
