Students with abstracts that have been accepted may be eligible for free transportation up and back to Bozeman provided by the Office for Research.

New CUR White Paper Urges Recognition of Undergraduate Researcher Mentoring in Faculty Advancement

In the new CUR White PaperRecognizing and Valuing the Mentoring of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity by Faculty Members: Workload, Tenure, Promotion, and Award Systems, the authors present the need for recognition of faculty mentorship of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity; recommend best practices for institutionsto adopt; offer a selection of case studies that features some of these practices; and summarize upcoming challenges.
