The Office for Research Outreach and Compliance sponsors research opportunities for undergraduate students through a variety of collaborations and events.


Academic year 2020 Undergraduate Research Travel Funds are still available!

Undergraduate research STEM travel funding is now available for travel during the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 terms. Awards will be granted as applications are received. 

Please download the 2020 STEM Undergraduate travel application with instructions and eligibility requirements.

You are encouraged to submit your application early as funding is limited.

Spring 2020 Undergraduate Research Mentoring Funds for STEM faculty-led student research projects

Applications are now being accepted for Spring 2020 Undergraduate STEM research mentoring projects.  Funding is limited with an estimated 5 awards.  Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2019. ISU Research Council will review applications and award funding. Download application using the link below:
