Vehicle Burglary

• Avoid leaving valuables and expensive equipment in plain view from the outside of the vehicle. Take these items with you, or secure them in the trunk, center console, or glove compartment.
• Park in a well-lit area, when possible.
• Do not leave vehicle keys in your residence or office door.
• Keep a written record of all personal valuables, including descriptions and serial numbers. It is evidence that the property is yours.
