Campus Security Authority (CSA)

The Clery Act designates certain members of the campus community as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) by virtue of their position or role at the University. CSAs are people who are in a position to build connections and rapport with students and who are likely to receive reports of criminal violations on campus.

Idaho State University encourages all campus community members to report crimes to Public Safety on a timely basis. This allows law enforcement leaders to determine if a Timely Warning or Emergency Notification should be issued to alert the campus community of a dangerous situation.
