Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
To promote safety awareness for the campus community and comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, commonly referred to as the Clery Act, Idaho State University has published the 2021 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. The Clery Act is a consumer protection law intended to provide the campus community and their families with accurate, complete, and timely information about safety on campus so that they can make informed decisions.
The 2021 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the past three years (2020, 2019, and 2018) concerning fires in residential facilities and reported crimes that occurred on campus, on surrounding and adjacent public property, and in certain off-campus property owned or controlled by the University. The report also contains information regarding campus security and personal safety topics such as crime prevention, fire safety, disciplinary procedures, how to report crimes, and how the University will notify the campus community regarding threats to their safety.
Each year Idaho State University sends an email notification to current students, faculty, and staff. You can request a paper copy from the Department of Public Safety by calling (208) 282-2515, emailing, or visiting the Department of Public Safety Office on the Pocatello, Idaho Falls, or Meridian campuses.
