Guidelines for delcaring a Major in Political Science

1. Completion of a minimum of 24 credit hours with at least a 2.25 (C+) grade point average.

2. Completion of Political Science 101 - Introduction to American Government, and Political Science 202 - Introduction to Politics (or their equivalent) with at least a C grade in each case.

3. Satisfactory completion of general education Goals 1 (English), 2 (Speech), and 3 (Mathematics). A good faith attempt to complete these general education goals will also be accepted. Example - A student took a general education Math course, but failed the class and is currently taking it again.

4. A signed agreement between the student and a member of the faculty agreeing to academic advising.
