Pharmacy Technician Immunization Administration Workshop 2019
The Idaho State University College of Pharmacy is pleased to offer our pharmacy technician immunization training. This three hour combined CE didactic and live training activity is provided by APhA-trained pharmacists and is ACPE-accredited and Idaho Board of Pharmacy approved.

Registration and Fees
All participants must register online and complete a pre-test at the time of registration.
$90—At least 1 week in advance (PayPal)
$130—Onsite Registration (Cash or Check Only)
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within one week of the program. The University reserves the right to cancel a course offering due to insufficient enrollment, natural disaster, or other justifiable reasons. Registration fees will be refunded in full. However, the University is not responsible for any cancellation fees assessed by airlines, travel agencies, etc.No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 1 week of the program.
Post-test and Evaluation
Evaluations and Post-test will be available the day of the program and are due within one week. A $50 late fee will apply if not received by the deadline.
If you would like handouts of the presentation slides, you must print them ahead of time.

Immunization Administration: A Primer for Pharmacy Technicians

This presentation will certify and prepare pharmacy technicians to effectively administer immunizations. We will also help improve pharmacy technician knowledge base regarding immunizations.
Learning objectives for pharmacy technicians
- Identify the appropriate type, dosage, and route of administration of various vaccines
- Describe the role of a pharmacy technician in administering immunizations
- Implement appropriate procedures for storage of vaccines, patient documentation, and evaluation of potential contraindications for vaccines
- Demonstrate proper technique for preparing and administering immunizations
