Current students may volunteer to work 1- to 2-hours shifts assisting participants, accepting donations and maintaining inventory. At this time, we do not accept staff or faculty volunteers.

All volunteers are required to complete training and to sign a confidentiality agreement. Regular training sessions are held during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the summer, training is completed during the first shift.


Clubs and organizations may “adopt” 1- to 2-hours shifts in the pantry. At least 1 group member must be present during each shift. Groups may attend regularly scheduled volunteer training or request an additional session. Groups may also be eligible to earn incentive points through ASISU by organizing food and personal care item drives.
