Kristy D. Crownhart, DNP, FNP-C, APRN is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the graduate program and Coordinator for the DNP Program at Idaho State University School of Nursing, Meridian Campus. Dr. Crownhart has been in the nursing field since 2003, working in various settings including medical/surgical, post-partum, emergency care, urgent care, population health, and case management.  Prior to coming to ISU, she served as an active duty nurse in the United States Air Force Nurse Corp, a nurse in the 194th Washington Air National Guard, and currently serves as a nurse practitioner with the 124th Air National Guard, Boise, Idaho. Dr. Crownhart recently completed a nurse practitioner internship and residency with the Boise VAMC Centers of Excellence.  Dr. Crownhart is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Nurse Practitioners of Idaho, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
