Cost of Obtaining an MSHI Degree

MSHI Cost Information

The MSHI program utilizes an ‘Online Program Fee’ tuition model which means for courses with a HI prefix, students pay a cost per credit hour for each credit taken. The current per credit hour cost for the Health Informatics MS degree is listed on the Online Program Fees webpage.

For courses with a HI prefix, the per credit cost for the MSHI degree is the same for in-state and out-of-state residents.

For courses with a prefix other than HI (e.g., HCA, MPH, etc.) cost is determined by the tuition model used by the program that owns the course (which may be different than the 'Online Program Fee' model used by MSHI). Tuition charges based on in-state / out-of-state residency may apply. Additional fees specified by the program may also be applicable.

Cost Calculation Example

If the current Online Program Fee for HI prefixed courses in the MSHI program is $565.00 per credit, a student registered for 9 credits of courses with the HI prefix would pay $5,085.00 (565 times 9). Whereas, a student registered for 12 credits of courses with the HI prefix would pay $6,780.00 (565 times 12).

Tuition and fees are subject to change by action of the State Board of Education. Costs listed are estimations and should not be considered a guarantee.
