On the cutting edge: ISU-Meridian researchers develop method to reduce drug toxicity
MERIDIAN— Researchers at the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center are a step closer to finding a way to reduce severe side effects caused by powerful drugs used to treat illness and disease.
Comprehensive health screening set for Nov. 16
NAMPA—Basic physical and dental exams and testing for blood sugar levels and cholesterol are included in free services offered at a community health screening Thursday, Nov. 16, 4-7 p.m., at the Hispanic Cultural Center of Idaho, 315 Stampede Drive, in Nampa.
Smylie Family Legacy Fund donates $100,000 to ISU-Meridian health professions programs
MERIDIAN-Idaho State University has received a $100,000 gift from an iconic Idaho family to support health professions programs and the medical sciences at the ISU-Meridian Health Science Center, according to university officials.
Record turnout for ISU-Meridian’s Health Science Experience Night and Pharmacy Open House
Meridian—An estimated 600 people—including 300 high school and college students—attended the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Experience Night and Pharmacy Open House Oct. 24.
