The ISU-Meridian Commencement Ceremony will be Monday, May 8, 2023 @ 6:00 PM at Idaho Central Arena in downtown Boise.

Cap, Gown, Hood, and Tassel Information
- All graduates who attend commencement must wear the appropriate regalia.
- Pre-order regalia here by March 15th! The sooner is better!
- Regalia Roadshow -- Purchase and pick up your regalia at ISU-Meridian (RM 681) on:
- Thursday, March 30th between 12-6 PM, OR
- Friday, March 31st between 8 AM-2 PM
- COSTS:
- Associate/Bachelor - $94.92 + sales tax ($100.62)
- Master - $101.92 + sales tax ($108.04)
- Doctorate with Mortar Board - $126.92 + sales tax ($134.54)
- Doctorate with Tam - $177.98 + sales tax ($188.66)
- Regalia Instructions:
- Undergraduate students wear the tassel on the right prior to graduation. Move it to the left after your name has been announced.
- Graduate students wear the tassel on the left and do not change its position.
- Graduate students, please bring hood with you to the ceremony.
- Students keep the regalia.
Photography/Video
- There will be a professional photo opportunity for each graduate provided by The Grad Team.
- Commencement will also be live-streamed on ISU's YouTube channel
Diploma Information
- Those who attend commencement are presented with a diploma cover as they cross the stage.
- Be sure to pay your $20 Graduation/Commencement Fee.
- A final review of requirements will be completed prior to mailing diplomas. After review has been completed and degree is posted, your diploma will be mailed. This process may take 4-7 weeks after graduation.
- All diplomas will be mailed to the address indicated on the graduation application.
- If your address changes, please contact the Office of the Registrar at (208) 282-2661 or gradisu@isu.edu.

- It is the desire of the administration and the faculty of Idaho State University that the ceremony be conducted with courtesy and respect for each of the graduates.
- The behavior of all graduates is an important element in maintaining a ceremony that should be a memorable occasion.
The University extends to you our very best wishes for continued success and happiness.
All faculty are invited to attend commencement.
- Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
- Faculty should be at the Idaho Central Arena no later than 5:00 p.m.
- Commencement regalia is required.
- Order regalia here.
- Faculty order by March 17.
- Regalia must be picked up by May 4 -- Pick up from Ali Crane's office at ISU-Meridian Student Services, 1311 E. Central Drive, Meridian, Idaho.
- If a member of your immediate family is graduating, you may request to present the diploma cover at the ceremony.
What forms do I need to fill out to participate?
Students are required to complete the Application for Graduation (found in BengalWeb) and the Commencement RSVP Form.
Is there a rehearsal?
No, there will not be a rehearsal. That is why we ask graduates to watch a student instruction video (coming soon!) and to arrive at the event location (Idaho Central Arena, 233 S Capitol Blvd, Boise, ID 83702) at least an hour before showtime.
How long will commencement last?
Approximately 1½ hours.
Where can I pick up my cap and gown?
At ISU-Meridian (RM 681) during the Regalia Roadshow on Thursday, March 30th from 12-6 PM or Friday, March 31st from 8 AM-2 PM.
How can I order my cap and gown?
Pre-order here by March 15.
Will the ceremony be live-streamed?
Yes! the ceremony will be streamed live to ISU's YouTube channel. We ask that high-risk populations, people who have COVID-19, and those who have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 stay home and watch the live-streamed ceremony.
Where do I park?
There is no reserved parking for the commencement ceremony, which will be held at Idaho Central Arena. We recommend arriving early to find parking.
