                        StarFest 2018!

The Idaho Museum of Natural History is thrilled to announce its first ever Summer Festival, StarFest, inspired by IMNH's summer exhibit, Astronomical Idaho, which showcases Idaho’s deep connection with NASA research, space exploration, and the search for life beyond our planet. It includes an immersive digital experience that lets you be the astronaut, travel to distant planets, plan rover missions, and ward off space dangers. StarFest is being held in collaboration with the Pocatello Astronomical Society, who will provide a variety of telescopes and technical advising during a scheduled Telescope Clinic. IMNH will also be celebrating its Summer Membership Drive with a member tent, fun activities for adults and kids, music, and swag giveaways. StarFest is a free star gazing party so mark your calendars for Friday, August 17, 2018 now!

Please print your August Sky Star Chart and bring along.

The Heavens-Above astronomy app is also available here.
