Do you have a Kindergartner through 5th grader who is always pointing out birds and asking what they are? At IMNH, we have a FREE club just for them! Bird Club will meet the first and 3rd Fridays of each month to learn about different birds, as well as how to identify local birds. Club members will take part in citizen science projects and even get crafty!
We ask that club members register here, so that we can communicate about events and have a good count of materials and supplies for each student. In November, we will be focusing on the American Crow. We will learn about what makes a bird a bird, birdwatch around the ISU campus with binoculars, build bird houses, and learn the appropriate food for various bird species.
