Pre-Health Professions Association (PHPA)
The purpose of the Pre-Health Professions Student Association is to bring together students with similar goals and aspirations for mutual support and development of informational programs. The Student Association officers work closely with the pre-health profession Advisor to develop a schedule of speakers, workshops, and other programs covering many of the health professions. Annual dues are minimal and are used to provide the programs described above.

American Medical Student Association (AMSA)
AMSA is a student-governed, national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training. AMSA members are medical students, premedical students, interns, residents and practicing physicians. Founded in 1950, AMSA continues its commitment to improving medical training and the nation's health.
Future Health Professional Association (FHPA)

Interprofessional Health Discipline Student Association
The purpose of the Interprofessional Health Disciplines Student Association is:
- Provide healthcare professional students of Idaho State University access to interprofessional learning opportunities and collaboration with students.
- Building awareness of the importance of interprofessional work on the healthcare team.
- Allow healthcare professional students to network with employers, students, and community members.
- Expand knowledge of working in rural and underserved communities.
- Promote interprofessional service learning experiences.
- Practice representing yourself to other health discipline students.

Idaho Condor is a humanitarian organization that is ran solely by ISU students, local doctors, and other community professionals. They make a yearly trip to Peru during ISU's spring break to administer Dental, Medical, and other Health related services to the villages surrounding Cuzco, as well as parts of Lima.
Students to help organize the trip, as well as volunteer. Volunteer opportunities range from sterilizing instruments, to translating Spanish, to even directly assisting professionals. The experience that Pre-Health students will gain from this expedition is once-in-a-lifetime and is invaluable. It is also an incredible resume builder!
