MA in History
Offered since 2005, the MA in History trains students to explore established and emerging historical problems.
The History MA program integrates traditional and interdisciplinary approaches to historical research. Students take a variety of courses in historical methods, digital history, research methodology, and professional development. An MA in History prepares students to use their training in a variety of teaching, research, and other positions, including museums, consulting firms, non-profit organizations, government agencies, or further graduate study for post-secondary academic careers.
We also welcome K-12 educators who wish to pursue an MA in History. We offer a flexible course schedule and the option to customize the final MA project to cater to the interests and demands of primary and secondary educators.
Finally, the MA in History can be completed in person or online.
