Aces Bill Walsh Scholarship The Bill Walsh scholarship will go to an applicant who aspires to edit news and who demonstrates the talent and passion for language that Bill devoted his life to. AIAS Foundation WomenIn Scholarships This scholarship has exclusively been established for individuals that identify as women and are full-time undergraduate students or graduate students attending an accredited college or university. AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students The AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students ensures that CPAs of diverse backgrounds are visible in college and university classrooms. The program's goal is to increase the number of minority CPAs who serve as role models and mentors to young people in the academic environment. The AICPA Foundation awards annual fellowships of $12,000 to full-time minority accounting Ph.D. scholars who demonstrate significant potential to become accounting educators. AMBUCS Scholars - Scholarships for Therapists  National AMBUCS, Inc. has awarded scholarships to students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and hearing audiology. Annual Financial Empowerment Scholarship The Annual Financial Empowerment Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this award. Aspargus Club Scholarship The Asparagus Club awards a maximum of ten scholarships per year (subject to availability of funds). Each scholarship is $2,000 per semester (fall and spring only) not to exceed four consecutive semesters. Recipients must retain full-time student status and earn at least a 2.5 GPA to earn a scholarship each semester/quarter.Eligibility:-Full-time students-Rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students-Earning a degree in a business, food management, or other relevant courses of study leading to a career in the independent retail grocery industry. Benoit Migambi Chronic and Neurological Diseases Scholarship There is currently no cure for epilepsy, along with many other chronic diseases. To honor Benoit Migambi, who passed away from epilepsy, this scholarship seeks to inspire the next generation of students studying neurological and chronic diseases. Biannual Scholarship Mr. Weiss is pleased to offer incoming and existing college and/or graduate school students an opportunity to win a $2,500. (1st prize), $1,000. (2nd prize) and $500. (3rd prize) higher education scholarship. The scholarship is offered twice a year, in the fall and the spring of each year. The biannual scholarship and selection for the three (3) scholarship awards is based on an essay contest where the contestants take a position on a relevant topic that is assigned (see below) dealing with specific legal issues pertaining to debt relief. The biannual essay assigned topics change ever six (6) months and may deal with any of the following:bankruptcy law, foreclosure defense, debt negotiation, mortgage modification, tenant defense, debtor-creditor law and all forms of legal debt relief. ConnectHER Film Festival The ConnectHER Film Festival provides a powerful platform for young storytellers (ages 13 to 25) to highlight critical issues facing women and girls. Students submit original short (3 to 6 minutes) films focused on issues such as girls’ global education, ending violence against women, redefining beauty, women and the environment, and girls in tech. Dashanna K. McNeil Memorial Scholarship Dashanna K. McNeil dedicated her life to caring for others through her practice in nursing and was a source of inspiration and hope for many people. After graduating from Conway High School in 1995, she completed the LPN licensure program from the Conway School of Practical Nursing Program that same year. Dashanna continued her education by completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Carolina. She later completed a Masters in Nursing and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Phoenix. Dashanna loved nursing and sharing her talents and leadership in healthcare systems in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Tennessee, and California. Her love and passion for healing encouraged her to start and incorporate the McNeil Healthcare Institute with the purpose of educating future certified nursing assistants. The Dashanna K. McNeil Memorial Scholarship exists to honor her life and to encourage and support those who share her commitment to the field of nursing through their studies and pending careers. Getting the most out of life requires both the courage to explore the world, and the kindness and openness to welcome and accept all those you meet along the way. One student whose profile demonstrates an openness to learning about other cultures and sharing their own will receive $2,000 to help them continue on their path to travel and learn. Fulbright U.S. Student Program for Study/Research Applicants for study/research awards design their own projects and will typically work with advisers at foreign universities or other institutes of higher education.
