Sandee Moore - Gehrke


Sandee leads a culture of continuous improvement, integrating effective process improvement principles, driving leader and staff accountability and enhancing performance execution across the organization. Her executive oversight encompasses St. Luke’s three population health areas, St. Luke’s clinic, construction, real estate management, security, emergency management services, pharmacy, laundry and environmental services, food and nutrition services, staffing and resources.  


During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sandee has served as logistics chief, standing up additional locations and clinics and adjusting processes and policies in coordination with clinical guidance to create new standards of operations for the health system; and as incident commander, providing strategic direction for hospital incident management and support activities. She continues to provide leadership for the system’s response structure.  


Prior to joining St. Luke’s in 2014, Sandee served in a variety of progressive leadership positions with HCA Healthcare and has held such positions as chief operating officer at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and associate administrator at Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. 


Born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho, she received her bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University and master’s degree from the University of Colorado. She has served on the Idaho State University Alumni Board and the Healthcare Administration Advisory Board and is currently serving on the Idaho State University Foundation Board. Board-certified in healthcare management, Sandee is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and served as regent for the state of Idaho from 2012 to 2015.
