Joseph C. "Joe" Jensen

Lifetime Director

A Pocatello native, Joe Jensen retired as President of Pfizer Inc., Animal Health Group, Europe/AFME Region. He holds a bachelor’s degree from ISU and a master’s degree from Dartmouth Amos Tuck School of Business. Jensen’s nearly 40 year career with Pfizer took him all over the world.  He now resides in New York City.

 Jensen received the 2000 Professional Achievement Award from ISU’s College of Arts and Sciences, and was chairman of the board for the Natural Heritage Project at ISU. He and his late wife, Cheryl, served on the Centennial Campaign Cabinet and, together, they received the 2002 President’s Medallion in recognition of their extraordinary service and support to ISU.  The Jensens have supported a myriad of programs at ISU and made a generous commitment to the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephen Performing Arts Center, establishing the Joseph C. and Cheryl Jensen Grand Concert Hall.
