Randall Hudspeth, PhD, APRN-CNP
Randall Hudspeth is a 3rd generation Idahoan and an ISU graduate with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, he holds MSN and MBA degrees from Syracuse University, and a PhD from NYU.
During his career he has held high level administrative clinical positions both internationally and in Idaho. He was at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for 10 years and retired in 2015 after serving as a Chief Clinical and Nursing Officer with the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
He is a former chairman of the Idaho Board of Nursing and a former treasurer of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. He currently serves on the Healthcare Transformation Council of Idaho, Idaho’s COVID Immunization advisory council, and served on the Idaho Rural Access Healthcare board for 11 years. In Nov. 2021 he was selected by the Idaho Business Review as one of the top 25 healthcare influencers in Idaho.
As a student at ISU, he served 3 terms as a student senator from the College of Medical Arts. He has served as adjunct faculty and on the Deans’ Advisory Boards for the School of Nursing and the Meridian Campus. He received a Professional Achievement Award in 2010. He and wife, Ingrid, have established an endowed scholarship for nursing.
