Reed N Brimhall, CPA

Director and Audit Committee Chair

Reed Brimhall graduated from ISU in 1978 having earned a B.B.A. in Accounting with very high honors.  He began his professional career immediately following graduation as a Senior Audit & Consulting Manager with Deloitte & Touche.  He went on to serve in a variety of increasingly responsible finance related positions such as Director of Internal Audit for Stanford University, Corporate Controller and Corporate Secretary for Scientech, Inc., and Senior Vice President and Controller for Washington Group International, Inc where he was responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for a $2.5 billion engineering, construction and government contract enterprise with over 25,000 employees and projects in 30 countries.  He became Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for URS Corporation, Inc in May, 2003 where he was responsible for an $11 billion, publically traded, engineering, technical services, construction and government contracting enterprise with over 55,000 employees with projects in over 40 countries.  Currently Mr. Brimhall serves as Executive Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Scentsy, Inc. where he is responsible for all financial aspects of the company including finance, accounting, financial reporting, tax market research and data analysis and the Program Management Office.

Mr. Brimhall enjoys affiliations with such organizations as the Treasure Valley CFOs Forum where he was a board member in 2017, Certified Public Accountant in Idaho and Oregon, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Idaho Society of Certified Public Accounts, Beta Gamma Sigma, Honorary Business Fraternity, and as a board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Idaho Chapter from 1998 to 2000.  He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Idaho Virtual Academy, a state sponsored Charter primary and secondary school in the State of Idaho.  He currently serves on the Faculty Advisory Board for the ISU College of Business.
