I have been teaching composition and literature at ISU since 1996. In the past decade, I have focused on the writing of fiction. I am currently finishing the last of three volumes about my Norwegian ancestors and their emigration to Minneapolis. I also have written four full-length novels, a trio of novellas, and a volume of short stories. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, printmaking, and reading.
