I am excited to have taught at the English Department since 2015, and I am looking forward to teaching at the department in the 2016-2017 academic year. I have enjoyed implementing my research in TESOL into the classroom. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of courses in several different universities, and I have advanced degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno and the University of Kansas. My current research interests include motivation in second language acquisition; effective uses of technology in language teaching; and language acquisition in service-learning projects.
