Respiratory Protection Program

Half face, full face, and N95 respirators

Respirators can be used to protect people from inhaling hazardous materials in the air, when ventilation and other control methods are not feasible or available. These materials can be in the form of gases, vapors, mists, dusts or fumes. Below is the link to the University’s Respiratory Protection Program - Compliance Protocol. The document and appendices contain the purpose, scope, and elements of the program. It also contains the required procedures and responsibilities for respirator use at the University.
