Nancy Fox serves as the Industrial Hygiene Manager and Interim Co-Director.  Nancy holds a Master of Science degree in Public Health/Industrial Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, both from the University of Utah. She is certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.  She has 20-plus years of experience in environmental health and safety, primarily within higher education, and 4 years of experience in emergency management. She has been employed by ISU for 3 years. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and out door hiking skiing, gardening, and horseback riding.

Jennifer Parrott serves as the Environmental Programs Manager and Interim Co-Director. Jennifer holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Pollution Control from Penn. State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Juniata College. Prior to ISU, Jennifer spent approximately 10 years in the environmental field working for the private, public, and nonprofit sector. She has been employed by ISU for 5 years.  Outside of work Jennifer enjoys gardening and spending time outside with her family.

Ed Isla, STS

Asbestos / Industrial Hygiene Specialist

Ed Isla serves as the Asbestos/Industrial Hygiene Specialist. Ed holds an associate’s degree in Architectural Drafting and Design from ITT Technical. He is certified as a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and possesses a number of certifications including EPA Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Designer, Asbestos Abatement Supervisor and Lead  Inspector/Risk Assessor.  Ed has experience in the fields of asbestos, indoor air quality, lead (Pb) and construction safety.  Prior to ISU, he worked for 9 years in the consulting field as an Industrial Hygiene Technician. Ed has been employed by ISU for 2 years. Outside of work Ed enjoys martial arts, fishing and coin collecting.
