Dean's Welcome Letter to Students

Welcome to the College of Education! We are honored that you are considering us as you look to earn a college degree or pursue graduate studies that will allow you to advance in your profession. 

If you are a prospective student, please check out our website or come to campus to learn more about our rich array of academic programs including certificate, undergraduate, and graduate programs in teacher education, educational leadership, workplace training and leadership, human resource development, instructional design and technology, athletic training, school psychology, and physical education with emphases in outdoor education, exercise science, or sport management. For those of you who are looking for more flexible options, we encourage you to check out our fully online, affordable programs which seek to make education accessible to all students in Idaho, the region, nationally, and across the globe. In all of our programs, we place a high value on applied learning so that our graduates are well prepared for the careers they will be pursuing.      

Our talented faculty and staff in the College of Education will provide you with an academic experience that is student-centered, experiential, research-based, inclusive, and innovative. We are committed to promoting a culture of caring, respect and intellectual rigor and to preparing professionals who serve and lead with integrity and who will be change agents in their workplaces and communities.
