Q. Do I have to register for the Early Registration Event?
A. Yes, you may register on the Early Registration page
Q. Do I need to attend the entire Early Registration program in order to register for classes?
A. Yes, in order to take advantage of priority registration at the Early Registration program, you must attend the full program. If you choose not to attend the full program then you will have to wait until registration opens for all freshman.
Q. Is there a charge to attend Early Registration?
A. No, the event is free.
Q. Where is the Cesar Chavez Foyer?
A. It is located in the Bengal Theater lobby in the Pond Student Union near the intersection of Cesar Chavez Way and East Humbolt. You can print a copy for yourself under “Maps.”
Q. Where should I park?
A. Free parking is available at the Holt Arena north parking lot. A free shuttle bus service will be available to transport you from Holt Arena parking to the Pond Student Union - Cesar Chavez Entrance (Theater Lobby). You can print a copy for yourself under “Maps.”
Q. What should I bring to Early Registration?
A. Bring a photo ID, and Early College and Dual Enrollment information (if applicable), a laptop or tablet, and list of undergraduate programs offered. You can find a pdf of this list on the 'My To-Do" List' page.
Q. Do I need a student computer account for Early Registration and what does a student computer account include?
A. A student computer account is highly recommended. At Early Registration, you can sign up for a fall semester computer account. The fee of $35 will be added to your fall semester fee statement. This fee includes computer access for the summer. For further information regarding the computer account, please contact the ISU Service Desk at (208) 282-4357 (HELP).
Q. When are fees and tuition due for the Fall semester?
A. Generally, fees and tuition are due by 5 p.m. on the Friday before classes begin. Tuition and fee information will be made available on the Finances Tab in BengalWeb mid-July.
Q. If I attend Early Registration and register for classes but am unable to attend the Fall 2018 semester, what action should I take?
A. DROP YOUR CLASSES in BengalWeb before the semester begins to avoid possible negative consequences (i.e. failing grades, financial charges). See the ISU Academic Calendar for specific deadlines. Notify the Office of Admissions (208-282-2475). If you signed up for a computer account, contact the ISU Service desk to have the fee removed (208-282-4357). Check your Finances Tab in BengalWeb to ensure that there are no fees or charges. Contact the Cashier's Office for any questions regarding charges (208-282-3000).
