Contact an Advisor

Got questions about nutrition and dietetics? A good place to start is with our administrative assistant for the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. She can help answer the basics. And, if she can't answer your question, she’ll know who to put you in touch with to find an answer!

Students should regularly meet with a Pre-Health advisor. Pre-Health advisors monitor your progress throughout the degree program, track the prerequisite courses, and provide information about application procedures. They also organize informational meetings, workshops, and speakers on specific health professions.

Contact a Pre-Health Advisor:

You can also set up an appointment online by using the Pre-Health Professions Advisor calendar.

Pre-Health Newsletter
During the fall and spring semesters a weekly newsletter is sent out with items of interest to students—check out the Pre-Health Newsletter Archive.

Did you take some of the required courses for the BS in Dietetics degree at another school? Are you looking to transfer credits from a bachelor’s degree that you have already earned? Please take a minute to review Transfer Articulation at Idaho State University.

With this tool you can see what courses taken at other schools are comparable to ISU classes.  The tool includes schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. It helps you estimate how specific courses that you have already taken at another school might transfer to ISU.

FYI: This information is provided as a convenience for prospective students. It gives you a possible snapshot of what courses might transfer. The information on this site is not considered a guarantee of transfer credit awards. Formal decisions on transfer credits are initiated once an official transcript has been submitted.
