The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the job market for registered dietitians will grow nationally by 11% between 2018 and 2028. As preventable diseases and conditions such as hypertension and cardiovascular disease are on the rise, registered dietitians are increasingly more in demand as part of the medical team.

The U.S. 2020 median annual salary for a registered dietitian was $63,090, with the median hourly pay being $30.33.
