Beginning/Intermediate Stained Glass

Mondays | 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Session I:January 23-March 6 (No class February 20th)

Session II: March 13 - April 24 (No classes March 20th)

Instructor – Steve Paris

Students will learn the basics of stained glass through pattern layout, glass cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. Projects will be completed using both foil and lead cane methods. Steve will discuss materials needed and give you a list in your first class so you can purchase them for the second class.

Instructor – Alesha Kelley

 In this 6 week course students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel and various decoration and glazing techniques. The students will also develop skills that will enable them to create stable and aesthetic pieces. In the shop we have all of the tools needed. A bag of 25 lb. clay will need to be purchased for $24.

Registration Information

Class fee includes day-use fee for class times only. Day-use or membership can be purchased for additional days. Class sizes are limited, so early enrollment is encouraged. Call (208) 282-3281 or come in to the Craft Shop to register and pay for a class. Registration is complete when the fee is paid. Minimum registration must be met 24 hours prior to the first class or it may be canceled. You will be notified of any cancellations and your fee will be refunded.

The Craft Shop has equipment and instructors available to teach small group classes. Call for pricing and to schedule. Paint-a-Pot

Glaze a pre-thrown pot. Anytime - $8 plus day use fee. The Craft Shop will have a supply of pre-thrown bowls, mugs, & tiles for students to glaze.
