We are closely collaborating with federal, state, and local agencies to implement best practices aimed at controlling the spread of the virus. Please remember this is an evolving situation and future updates will be shared.

Idaho State University has made the difficult decision to not hold in-person commencement and graduation-related activities this spring as previously planned. We invite graduates to participate in one of our upcoming commencement ceremonies on December 12, 2020 or May 8, 2021 in Pocatello, May 10, 2021 in Boise, or a commencement date further into the future –– whatever will work for you and your families.
For more information visit the Commencement website.
In a rapidly changing environment, we do not want to reschedule the ceremony for a later date this summer only to have to cancel again.
Work with the university bookstore. If possible, bring the credit card used for the purchase.
No. Graduation-related events will not be occurring as originally scheduled at all campus locations. Our university’s event team is quickly working on an alternate plan to celebrate graduates. Communication will be sent to grads as soon as a decision is made.
