FE Exam

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination for Engineer Intern Licensure is administered each year by the Natioal Coucil of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

College students with 90 hours towards their engineering or related science degree can take the test prior to graduation.

FE Practice Exam

To review material for the FE Exam and to learn more about exam prep materials, visit the NCEES website or contact the ISU ASCE chapter for recorded review sessions with faculty. 

 

FE Exam Reimbursement

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department strongly encourages its students to take the FE exam prior to graduation. As a demonstration of this support, the CEE department will reimburse $75 of the examination fee to its students who take and pass the exam during their academic careers.
