Become a Service Site

The Institute of Rural Health at Idaho State University is an AmeriCorps Host Site.  Public, private or faith-based nonprofit organizations and local or state agencies can become service sites under the Institute of Rural Health. If you are interested in becoming a Service site with the Institute of Rural Health, please complete a Placement Site Application and email the application to IHCF@isu.edu. If you have questions about participating please email staff or call 208-282-4436.

Become a Host Site

Public, private, or faith-based nonprofit organizations as well as local or state agencies can become an AmeriCorps VISTA sponsoring organization. Certain additional requirements would need to be met such as a clear mission statement and the ability to manage a certain number of service members among other requirements.  This handout will explain some more of the requirements:  AmeriCorps Host Site Flier.
