Arts and Letters Marketing Requests
To submit a request for marketing help, simply email email@example.com with the details of your request to generate a ticket for our team to work from. The CAL marketing team consists of Elizabeth Bowers (Management Assistant), Fallon Deatherage-Bradley (Marketing and Communications Coordinator), and Kaylee McKay (Career Path Intern), and based on the type of request one of them will reply to your ticket. All updates will come to you through TigerTracks in the form of an email from firstname.lastname@example.org. Replying to that email will submit a comment to the ticket from you for our team to see. Stories and Announcements
To submit a campus announcement to Idaho State Today, ROAR Weekly, or social media, please use ISU’s Content Submission Form and select “Campus Announcement.” The form will prompt you to select which methods of distribution are most appropriate for your submission. Please include all necessary information in your submission to streamline the process, including dates, times, and links.
To submit a press release, please use this Google Document template. When you click the link, it forces you to make a copy and rename the file. After you draft the news release, fill out the above Content Submission Form (select “News Tip or Story Idea”) and paste the Google Doc link in the body of the form. Please make sure to copy and paste the “edit” link, so the Marketing and Communications team has full access to the news release. Do not download the file as a Word document and share it as an attachment.
If you need assistance writing a formal press release, please specify this at the beginning of your Submission Overview and include all the information you have so far.
Social Media Content
To request that the university or CAL shares your content, use ISU’s Content Submission Form (select “Campus Announcement”). Please include all necessary information in your submission to streamline the process. If you are submitting a graphic, please include a caption in the text entry field.
To request that your content be distributed at the college level, please select “Other” and specify “College of Arts and Letters social media” (see image below).

To submit a design for brand approval, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of your request. Include your materials as an attachment and make sure your subject includes the phrase "CAL brand approval."
Brand Committee meets each Wednesday, so please plan ahead accordingly.
Graphic Design Requests
- The goal of your request (i.e., “promote my Cultural Events Committee-sponsored event”)
- Your deadline
- A very clear outline of the information included in the design, such as:
- Format (the size of your design, i.e., 8.5”x11” or 9”x16”
- Body text
- Necessary logos
- Image suggestions or requirements
- Any other necessary information, including printing requirements or other requests
